This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Interval Timer ("Application") created by Jorenbo Production.

Overview

Interval Timer is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Data Storage

  • All interval configurations, workout routines, and user preferences are stored strictly on your local device using local storage.
  • No workout data or personal details are ever uploaded to external servers or cloud services.

Device Permissions Used

The Application requests only the minimal permissions required to function as an interval workout timer:

  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to display the active timer status, remaining interval time, and playback controls (Pause/Resume) in your notification tray and lock screen.
  • Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK): Allows the timer to maintain precision countdowns and audio/haptic cues while the app is in the background or your screen is locked.
  • Audio & Haptics (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS, VIBRATE): Used to play countdown sound beeps and trigger vibration alerts when intervals transition between Work and Rest.

Third-Party Services & Analytics

  • The Application does not integrate third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or Firebase).
  • The Application does not display advertisements or use advertising identifiers.
  • The Application does not sell or disclose any information to third parties.

Children's Privacy

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
